(WASHINGTON, D.C. 12/3/19) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy group, today condemned anti-Semitic vandalism targeting a Washington, D.C., synagogue
The vandalism, which took place on Friday and was discovered on Monday morning, included graffiti of the word “JEW” carved into a door and Nazi swastikas written in red ink on a staircase.

“We condemn this act of anti-Semitic hate and view it as a symptom of growing bigotry nationwide targeting minority communities,” said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper. “We must all repudiate this and every other form of bigotry.”
