The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned a white supremacist demonstration held recently in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Members of an alleged neo-Nazi White supremacist organization appeared wearing masks and holding flags in front of the North Church in Portsmouth on March 9. Police say they did not interact with the group.

“Hate groups will not intimidate communities in New Hampshire – or anywhere else – with their public displays of bigotry,” said CAIR National Communications Manager Ismail Allison. “We condemn this hate demonstration and stand in solidarity with the people of Portsmouth and all those targeted by racist hate.”
He added that CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
