(WASHINGTON, D.C. – 6/15/2021) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned a racist, QAnon supporting, pro-Trump rally in Bozeman, Mont.
The rally was held Monday in celebration of Trump’s 75th birthday. Attendees flew Confederate, QAnon, and far-right, anti-government Three Percenter flags from their pickup trucks. Many pushed the lie that Trump won the 2020 presidential election.

“We are disturbed by the display of racist symbols of Confederate treason and the promotion of election fraud conspiracy theories by supporters of the former president in Montana,” CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper said. “These actions represent an attack on our democracy. We call on elected officials and community leaders to condemn QAnon and election conspiracy theories, as well as repudiate white supremacy, systemic anti-Black racism and the treason of the Confederacy.”
CAIR has previously condemned the use of Confederate flags at rallies.
