(WASHINGTON D.C., 11/12/2021) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned a white supremacist rally beginning today in Tennessee.
American Renaissance, a white supremacist organization known for promoting racist pseudo-science, begins its 2021 conference today at middle Tennessee’s Montgomery Bell State Park. The group has been hosting its annual conference at the park for several years. Groups protesting the gathering are expected.

“We condemn this rally and the growing threat white supremacists pose to our nation, and we urge all Americans to unite in opposing the rising tide of racism and bigotry nationwide,” said CAIR National Communications Coordinator Ismail Allison.
Allison said the American Muslim community and CAIR are standing in solidarity with all those challenging anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, and white supremacy.
