The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the world’s silence after yet another Israeli massacre of starving Palestinians forced to seek food at U.S.-back concentration sites in Gaza.
Israel slaughtered at least 72 people on Thursday, including 21 who gathered near the concentration sites.
The Agence France-Presse (AFP) news agency reports: “[S]ix people were killed while waiting for aid in the southern Gaza Strip and 15 others in a central area known as the Netzarim corridor, where thousands of Palestinians have gathered daily in the hope of receiving food rations.”

Earlier this week, CAIR said Israeli food concentration sites in Gaza are in fact “human slaughterhouses” after Israeli tanks fired into a crowd trying to get aid from trucks, killing at least 59 people.
CAIR also condemned the Israeli occupation’s slaughter of 34 Palestinians near food concentration points as “sociopathic.”
In a statement, CAIR said:
“Every day, Israel cruelly forces starving families to seek crumbs of food at its U.S.-backed concentration sites, and then slaughters those women, children and men with impunity as the world stands silent or even supports the ongoing genocide. This daily slaughter of starving people must end, as must our government’s support for Israel’s genocide.”
CAIR recently said the daily massacres at Israeli concentration sites in Gaza, the forced displacement of the population to receive scraps of food at those sites and intentional destruction of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure are designed to carry out Israel’s campaign of ethnic cleansing.
CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
La misión de CAIR es proteger las libertades civiles, mejorar la comprensión del Islam, promover la justicia, y empoderar a los musulmanes en los Estados Unidos.
