The Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MI) today condemned the distribution of racist pamphlets to homes in Burton.

“We condemn the distribution of this hateful propaganda and stand in solidarity with the people of Burton against the hate groups that seek to intimidate and divide them,” said CAIR-MI Executive Director Dawud Walid. “We thank law enforcement for taking these reports seriously and investigating.”

He said CAIR-MI  and the  Michigan Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
