CAIR Condemns Distribution of White Supremacist, Neo-Nazi Propaganda in Wisconsin

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of white supremacist, neo-Nazi propaganda in Wisconsin.

Hundreds of flyers promoting white supremacy and a neo-Nazi hate group were scattered throughout Ozaukee and Washington counties over the weekend.

“The promotion of racist hate must be challenged by all Americans whenever and wherever it occurs,” said CAIR National Communications Manager Ismail Allison. “If bigotry is met with silence, those who promote hate will falsely view that silence as acceptance.”

He noted that CAIR has condemned similar distribution of hate materials in Wisconsin.

Last month, CAIR similarly condemned the reported distribution of white supremacist propaganda in Maine.

CAIR also condemned the distribution of white supremacist propaganda in Joplin, Missouri, and a reported demonstration by a white supremacist neo-Nazi group, Aryan Freedom Network, in Marion, Iowa.

Allison noted that CAIR has similarly condemned neo-Nazi and white supremacist activities nationwide.

Washington, D.C., based CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
