CAIR-MN to Hold Free Legal Clinic at Dar Al Farooq Center in Bloomington

CAIR logo(MINNEAPOLIS, MN, 7/29/2016) – On Saturday, July 30, the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) will hold a “Free Brief Advice Legal Clinic†at the Dar Al Farooq Center in Bloomington, Minn.

The CAIR-MN clinic will provide free legal advice on issues such as civil rights, housing and employment.  Volunteer attorneys and law students will provide intake and advice to clinic participants.

“Many people have legal issues they need to address, but don’t have access to attorneys,” said CAIR-MN Civil Rights Attorney Ellen Longfellow. “This free legal clinic will enable participants to talk to a lawyer about their legal problems without having to worry about the cost.”
