CAIR-San Antonio to Hold Blood Donation Drive Marking 9/11 Anniversary

CAIR logo(SAN ANTONIO, TX, 9/8/2016) – On Friday, September 9, the San Antonio chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-San Antonio) will sponsor a blood donation drive to mark the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.

The blood donation drive will be hosted in conjunction with a free health clinic by Al Bary Community Health Center to be held on Saturday, September 10. Both events are open to the public.

“On this fifteen anniversary of the horrific terror attacks on our soil, in which so many American lives were lost, we want San Antonians to join us in giving our blood so we can save the lives of the people we have never met and do not know,†said CAIR-San Antonio President Sarwat Husain.
