(WASHINGTON, D.C., 5/28/08) – On Sunday, June 1, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Masjid Muhammed will sponsor a women’s health workshop focusing on breast cancer prevention and education at the mosque’s facility in Washington, D.C.

The workshop is part of CAIR’s fourth annual summer-long “Muslims Care” campaign, which is designed to encourage volunteerism in the American Muslim community. The focus for events in June is health awareness.
