CAIR-WA to Join Rally Against Muslim Ban at 9th Circuit Hearing in Downtown Seattle

(SEATTLE, WA, 12/5/2017) – On Wednesday, December 6, the Washington state chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Washington) will join a coalition of organizations for #NoMuslimBanEver rally in downtown Seattle tomorrow. This week the U.S. Supreme Court stayed federal court injunctions that had, until today, largely prevented the Trump administration from implementing Muslim Ban 3.0’s visa restrictions.

Although this decision allows Muslim Ban 3.0 to go into effect now, the court could still find it unconstitutional at a later date. The rally is timed to coincide with the 9th Circuit Court’s Hearing of Muslim Ban case Hawaii v. Trump.
