(WASHINGTON, D.C., 4/3/17) – On Tuesday, April 4, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will join the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC), CAPAC Chair Congresswoman Judy Chu (D-CA), and several other civil rights groups in hosting a congressional briefing on partnering with American Muslims to better empower and protect that community against increasing hate crimes, bias and hostile Trump administration policies.
