(SAN DIEGO, CA, 8/4/15) – John David Weissinger, 54, today pleaded guilty to threatening the San Diego chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-San Diego).
Weissinger pleaded guilty to two felonies – making a criminal threat and possessing an illegal assault rifle – and a misdemeanor charge of hate crime, violation of civil rights. Sentencing is scheduled for October 13.
