CAIR: Authorities investigating after Columbia mosque vandalized with swastika symbol, ‘get out’ message – Post and Courier  

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Washington, D.C.-based Muslim group, called on authorities to investigate the vandalism as a hate crime.  

“We condemn any attack on a house of worship and urge state and federal law enforcement authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice,” Ibrahim Hooper, national communications director for CAIR, said in a statement. “This troubling incident must be investigated as a possible hate crime.
