(WASHINGTON, DC, 9/4/2023) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of neo-Nazi white supremacist and antisemitic material in Wisconsin.
Police in Whitefish Bay, Wisc., say they are investigating more than 70 illegally-distributed hate flyers found in front of houses Sunday night. The flyer asks, “Who is working in the interest of white Americans?” and offers links to a website promoting white supremacy and Nazi imagery, as well as racist and antisemitic language.

“White supremacist, antisemitic, neo-Nazi, and other hate-filled ideologies are unfortunately being promoted to create fear and intimidation in communities nationwide,” said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper. “It is up to the vast majority of Americans who reject and repudiate hate to stand up against the bigots who would divide our nation.”
Hooper added thatyesterday, CAIR condemned marches by neo-Nazis in Florida on Saturday.
He noted that CAIR recently condemned the distribution of neo-Nazi propaganda CD’s to homes in Miles City, Mont., and similarly condemned a gathering held by a neo-Nazi organization in Augusta, Maine
In June, CAIR’s Georgia chapter expressed solidarity with the Jewish community after neo-Nazis rallied outside a synagogue.
CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
La misión de CAIR es proteger las libertades civiles, mejorar la comprensión del Islam, promover la justicia, y empoderar a los musulmanes en los Estados Unidos.
