(SOUTHFIELD, MI, 9/27/07) – A representative of the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MI) today participated in a panel discussion entitled “The Exercise of Faith as a Public Activity” at the Metropolitan Church of God in Detroit, Michigan.
The panel discussion, which was organized by Metropolitan Organizing Strategy Enabling Strength (MOSES), focused on various perspectives and issues regarding the extent that religious values should inform public policy.
CAIR-MI Executive Director Dawud Walid joined clergy from the Baptist, Lutheran and Unitarian denominations on the panel.
