CAIR-STL: Suit Filed Against University of Missouri Professor for Sexual Harassment of Muslim Student

CAIR logo(SAINT LOUIS, MO 12/15/15) – The St. Louis Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-STL) will hold a press conference on the University of Missouri, Columbia Campus after UM professor made harassing and discriminatory remarks against a Muslim female student.

 CAIR-STL is announcing the filing of a lawsuit against a University of Missouri, Columbia professor for ethnic intimidation and sexual harassment of a female Muslim student.

The lawsuit claims in part that during her time at MU, the student was subjected to offensive ethnic slurs and unwanted sexual comments by an MU professor.

This suit, filed on November 30, seeks discipline of the professor and damages for the harm caused to this student.
