‘Camel Jockey’ Written on Sign of D.C. Muslim Firm

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 10/5/07) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) reported today that a racial slur was written earlier this week on the office sign for a Muslim company in Washington, D.C.
The racist term “camel jockey” was discovered Wednesday on the sign for the USA Halal Chamber of Commerce/DC Arab-American Certification Consultants on I Street in Northwest D.C. A police report was filed.
