The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned a reported rally by neo-Nazis in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Masked demonstrators reportedly from the neo-Nazi group NSC-131 rallied in front of Greenwich Town Hall.

“We urge all political, religious and community leaders to join in the repudiation of the message of hate promoted by this neo-Nazi group and urge law enforcement authorities to protect target minority communities,” said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper.
He noted that in 2022, CAIR-CT condemned the distribution of the same group’s racist white supremacist materials in a neighborhood of Berlin, Conn.
Also in 2022, CAIR’s Massachusetts chapter condemned the attempted intimidation, allegedly by the same group, of migrants housed at a Kingston, Mass., hotel.
Yesterday, CAIR’s national office condemned a march by the white supremacist group Patriot Front in Charleston, West Virginia.
Earlier this month, CAIR condemned the distribution of white supremacist Patriot Front material in Idaho.
CAIR also urged federal law enforcement authorities to investigate an attack on a Mexican band in Oregon as a possible hate crime.
Last week, CAIR condemned neo-Nazi vandalism at two Northern Virginia schools and CAIR’s Michigan chapter condemned racist and neo-Nazi messages on digital billboards in metro Detroit celebrating Adolf Hitler’s birthday.
CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
La misión de CAIR es proteger las libertades civiles, mejorar la comprensión del Islam, promover la justicia, y empoderar a los musulmanes en los Estados Unidos.
