CAIR-St. Louis to Co-Host 'Walk for the Children of Syria'
(SAINT LOUIS, MO, 11/14/2012) — On November 17, the St. Louis chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-St. Louis) and the Syrian American Alliance (SAA) will host a humanitarian “Walk for the Children of Syria” at the Delmar Loop. The event is one part of the global Walk for the Children of Syria campaign that is taking place across the world and in more than 20 major cities across the U.S. to raise awareness of the plight of those fighting for freedom in Syria.

WHEN: Saturday November 17th, 1:30 – 3 p.m.
WHERE: Delmar Loop, 6504 Delmar Blvd, University City, Missouri 63130

The walk will start at the City Hall Building and will continue to Rosedale, then turn around and walk back. At the end of the walk, participants will release hundreds of balloons with the names of Syrian children who have been killed. Currently thousands of children have lost their lives in the ongoing conflict.
