CAIR to Present the ‘American Muslim of the Year Award’ at Oct. 17 Banquet in Va.

americanmuslimoftheyear(WASHINGTON, D.C., 9/30/15) – On October 17, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will present the “American Muslim of the Year Award†at its 21th annual banquet at the Marriott Crystal Gateway in Arlington, Va.

The award will be presented to a member of the community who has served the community and the nation by inspiring and empowering others.

Past awardees have included Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) and New York community activist Linda Sarsour.
